Rahab is an independent charity, rooted in and guided by the Sisters Adoratrices, but not funded by them.

As an independent charity, we rely solely on the kind generosity of our supporters to fund our work.

Every donation makes a difference, and we are immensely grateful to the many people who have placed their trust and confidence in us over the years.

No amount is too small, and every contribution helps us offer women real hope and opportunities.

If your employer is a registered payroll giving company, you can ask to make a regular, tax-free donation through your salary.

If your employer isn’t registered, they can easily set up the scheme. You can find more details on payroll giving on the gov.uk website.

If you’d like to leave a legacy in your will you should seek advice from a solicitor.

You’ll need to include our full name (Rahab Project Ltd) and registered charity number (1132250).

You can find a solicitor in your area through the Law Society.

If you are a UK taxpayer we may be able to reclaim 25p for every £1 you donate.

To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax, the tax on any pension or capital gains tax, must at least equal the amount claimed in the tax year.

To add gift aid to donations not made through our donation system you can complete the form below. Alternatively you can download a PDF version here and return it to us by post or by email. The declaration must be in one name only. You can cancel this declaration at any time by contacting us.

    • I am a UK taxpayer and want Rahab to treat all qualifying donations I have made in the last four years from today’s date, and all donations I will make in the future, as Gift Aid donations.

    • If I pay less income tax and or capital gains tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations I understand it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

    • I understand that any tax refund received by Rahab will be made at the basic rate. If I pay income tax at the higher or additional rate, and want to receive the additional tax relief due to me, I will include all my Gift Aid donations on my Self Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust my tax code.

    • If my circumstances change and I no longer pay tax on my income and capital gains equal to the tax that Rahab reclaims from my donations, I must notify Rahab and cancel this declaration.

    • If I change my name or address I will notify Rahab.

    Our commitment


    We will use your donation responsibly and be accountable and transparent.

    We will make best use of our income, keeping our administrative costs to a minimum so that maximum benefit
    of any income we receive goes directly to supporting and caring for the women.

    Our annual report and financial statement is reviewed every year by an external independent examiner
    and published on the Charity Commission’s website.
